Concepts and Icons

 I thought I'd make a concept for a Walter-white style character, , know has his regular job but than goes and makes meth. I went for a more NPC character, your friendly dentist who sells all sorts on the side. Wasn't %100 on what kind of colour schemes to go with, will come back to it another time.

And I played some Leauge of Legends recently, so I decided to make a bunch of achievement icons, these were my favorites of the bunch. Ill update as I go on this post.

Figure drawing

Some bits from the weekly figure drawing classes I have been attending for the past 3-4 months (or more?). The variety of models is impeccable for £7 a night! I primarily use pen and ink for the 5 minute or less studies, than break into pencil for the later ones. Im pretty pleased looking back on my old sketchbooks when I started the class, its either improvement or shaking off the rust.

Been grinding through alot of sketchbooks recently, having more fun just playing with peoples proportions, making them kind of cartoony. Been trying to get more people out with me for a weekly drink and draw sessions (Coffee shops and pubs), so if anyone is free around Reading, give us a comment.

Ragnarok - Lude

Super simple characters are fun! More Halloween related stuff.
Im looking into how to get the jack-o-lantern to glow and stuff in unity. As well as getting this guy rigged nicely for some simple animations. Other than that I also want to try to get texture swapping down for the face. Im not experienced enough in these areas yet, so a simple character such as this would be perfect for it.
I also want to make the Quve, might model that before I start playing around with rigging and the like. While Im on the ball that is.

Sketchbook it

I've been feeling a bit grey for the past couple of days, but I know i would get out of my funk by really getting into a drawing, think Ill just wait it out.
So heres some doodles from my sketchbook of recent. Picked up some more promarkers a while back, different shades and some skin tones. Think Im going in a neet direction with these. Will have to do some white paper sketches soon, getting tired of the mid-tone, makes the colours a bit dull I think, especially after the scanning.

Some neeto little shop items. Its interesting to see how they look at different sizes, some work well others not so much.

Gave myself 45 minutes, I wanted to continue but than it wouldnt be a warm up. Also I calibrate my PC monitor but colours still look very faded when put on my laptop. :I
