Cactus truck

A little speed paint from yesterday. I scribbled a random shape and tried to turn it into something cool, ended up with a little cactus truck. I think I should push some of the contrast more in places, its looking a tad flat im thinking. Hmm.

One was following a tutorial which I deviated from quite a bit, and the other was trying to pick up the things I learned. Learned a few little tricks which Im happy about so its all good.

Cars

I've ever been a huge car fan, cars are one of those things I try to avoid drawing at times. So the only way to get out of that is by drawing the bloody things. Think Ill try designing some crazy ones now. Just for larks.

Giant Pinching Mech!

I thought to myself today that you never really see the what makes Mechs, so I thought i'd make a mech for making mechs. Its got pinchy feet for climbing and pinchy pincers for pinching. OR something. When you watch cartoons you'd think all they'd need is a giant screw driver.

My tutor seems to think I need a logo for my portfolio, I guess its a cool idea, but I dont think I as a person require a brand, Im no a chocolate bar.
Other than that, the solid "Tristan Silva." works best I think.

A-24 Dauntless

Thought Id paint a aircraft today, went for a A-24 Dauntless inspired craft. Its relitivly similar, however I seem to have given it a bigger engine-air duct deal and no spinner, It dont need no spinner! (Although It does)
Anyway this was my first 3d render pass drawing, its a pretty cool method, I remember Al told me to give it a shot, think Ill have to play with it some more before getting decent results.
Some some bothersome reason it uploaded and made it darker, I dont know why.
