Ragnarok RSX-0806


RSX-0806, I wanted to give him a normal map aswell, but there wasnt a whole lot of need, everything was quite visable in the diffuse. But still as soon as I got the emissive map in there it started to look really cool.
 Fully hand painted, thanks to the wonders of 3dsmax's viewport canvas and my fancy yet spammed photoshop brushes. Fun times!
For something which is just a rusty sphere, i like how it turned out.

Skeletonpop Speedpaint

Yeah pointy skeleton! Recently Ive been thinking, might be good to try to work out the forms of creatures in different ways. Everytime I try I just go to a painting style.
And thats cool because, damned as hell I love painting.
The pelvis in 2d is a bit of a paint though. What would have been smart would be to model it, render it than paint that from the referance.
But thatd be alot of effort for a speedpaint.

Sandy n red

I dont get alod of time to relax and draw you know? I have to do all art related stuff at the office, which sounds fine, but they turn off the AC at 5, than it gets hot. You know sitting around all week from 8-8 in the same room will make anyone insane. So I avoid it naturaly, which means I dont paint and draw as much.
If I had a laptop or computer at home itd be alot different, but those are not the cards Ive been dealt.
Id render the crap out of this, but you get the idea.

RSX-0806 W.i.p

This guys been sitting in the back alleys of my work computer for the past 2 months. Untextured, no normals.
It still doesnt have normals. Think ill try texturing it first, get a nice difuse, than model acording to the texture in the high polly model to make the normal info. Could be a good test atleast. Better than just zbrushing it like a novice with no sub-groups.
